STUDENT GOVERNMENT Message From The President Of S.G.A. ASSOCIATION To The Students: The S.G.A. Wants You I would like to take this opportunity to extend to you a most hearty welcome from the Student Government Association of Southeastem Community Cdlege. Your having enrdled at S. C. C. shows that you have taken the first step in reaching the higher goals that you have set for yourself. Occasiaially, there will be pitfalls on the educational road ahead. Having perceived these problems in the past, the Student Govemment Association and flie faculty have taken measures to help alleviate many of these inevitable “pitfalls” that we will en counter. The most important thing for each of us is that we take advantage of the resources we have at our disposal. Ihe faculty and the Student Govemment Association work together to solve individual and group concems; as a member of the S.G.A., I encourage each of you to seek help, when needed. You will find assistance readily at hand. Your main objective should be to do your utmost in everything you undertake; but you must realize that you have an allegiance to your school. The pride you use in your voice when telling of your accomplishments and your school’s accomplishments should be earned by you, not borrowed frcsn others. I offer my support and best wishes for the forthcoming year. Sincerely, Gene Haddock, President Student Govemment Association MANY OPENINGS ARE AVAILABLE ON S.G.A. COMMinEES.1 CONTACT ANY S.G.A.
